"Letters from Cairo - Brigitte Schiffer 1935-1963" 

Working on this book I had a chance of diving into Brigitte Schiffers history, knowledge and humor. A composer, teacher - a woman ahead of her time, just in time, timeless. This books is a collection of her Cairo correspondences. Dealing with her routines and questions on her work and networks. In my role as artistic supervision I was trying to capture this modern woman's view of the cultural and social life of cosmopolitan Cairo in the middle of the 20th century. Glancing between document and fiction. With a slight of Egyptian surrealism as a background. This books came to life by wonderful people: Ikram Hili, Safeya Fawzy and Matthias Pasdzierny.
